The North Wales Region Action Plan will be the first one of its type in the region, and will be the foundation for future Action Plans.
We have lots of excellent ideas within the clubs in North Wales, and by structuring our action plan to take these into account; we can take advantage of having a lot of the leg work done already.
An example of one of the common problems that many clubs come across is that everyone wants their returns in various formats. The Council on their Rates relief form, The RYA, WYA you name it, and they all want virtually the same information but in different ways.
One of the actions in the plan is to develop a generic membership form that will capture information that might be required in the returns, in order to save membership secretaries having to sort through everything again. This form could be in a format that would only need customising for each club.
Please take some time to read through the Action Plan document to see if there is already something that your club is doing that could help us to achieve any of the goals any quicker. We have also produced a timeline document so you can see the progress! This will be updated on a regular basis and if you want to help out in any way please contact your Regional Development Officer or Regional Chairman, who can put you in contact the relevant person.
