Promising sailors in West Wales are getting help with their training and equipment from a local business.
Alstom, part of the multi-national power generation and transport business, have donated money to help the winter training sessions for some of the most talented up-and-coming sailors in West Wales.
Head coach Chris Jefferies said, "It is fantastic to see a local company taking an interest in sailing.
"It has really given the sailors a buzz to know that their achievements are being noticed.
"The assistance with training time and equipment will really help these promising sailors develop and fulfil their talent."
Volvo Champion Club Coaching Days are also heavily involved in supporting the coaching scheme, the car manufacturer being a big backer of sailing at all levels throughout the UK.
The £300 from Alstom is being used to help subsidise hoodies for the sailors and pay some of the expenses for running the training.
French company Alstom are heavily involved in the area as the company building a new gas power station for RWE Npower in Pembroke as well as a new windfarm in Maesgwyn near Glynneath.
