The World's best Mirror sailors will be in Pwllheli this month.  The Mirror Worlds are taking place on 27th-31st July  following on from Mirror Nationals on 23rd-25th July.

This is an opportunity for all to take part in a Worlds event. It will be an open event welcoming sailors of any standard and age, including sailors who usually sail other boats. There'll be world class racing at the front of the fleet, more relaxed sailing at the back and all levels in between.

The event kicks off with 2 days of pre-national training. UK National Coach Peter Aitken will be running two days of training on Monday 21st and Tuesday 22nd prior to the Nationals. A great chance to get some venue familiarisation. Open to ALL nations, please enter and pay by 12th July.

This year Oceanair Marine Ltd will be sponsoring the 2009 Junior World Championships,  for those under 16 at 31/12/09.

Oceanair are the world’s leading designers and manufacturers of marine blinds, screens and soft furnishings, delivering innovative custom solutions for enhancing living and working spaces on board.

The Oceanair Junior Worlds will be run in conjunction with the main championships,  juniors will be score in the main fleet but they will also have a seperate set of results.

In addition for all friends and family who would like to sail and be part of the action without taking part in the long races; Mirror Beach Worlds 2009 will be running alongside the main event. This is a fun event (entry fee just £10!) for younger, older or less experienced sailors, or anyone who is feeling less competitive.
