As Chairman of the Regional Committee I would like to invite all North Wales Sailing Clubs to attend an open evening at Plas Menai on Monday the 21st of June 2010 commencing at 19:00.

During the evening your will be able to get an understanding of how the OnBoard Programme will be rolled out in the region over the next few years as well as meeting Leah Collis who took up the position of OnBoard Development  Officer in April.  There will also be an opportunity for clubs who have not signed up to OnBoard to find out how this can be done and the benefits attached.

There will also be an opportunity to meet Steven Morgan the newly appointed Chief Executive of WYA, who will give a short presentation on the challenges facing the sport over the next few years and the important role that clubs play in developing the sport.

The meeting will start with a buffet, with this in mind I would be grateful if you could contact Ruth Iliffe at the WYA office on 01248 670738 or via e mail at ruth.iliffe@welshsailing.org by no later than Wednesday 16th of June so that the appropriate arrangements can be made.
