The biggest ever Welsh Topper entry begin training on Thursday for the Topper Nationals next week.  The National Squad and Regional sailors under the watchful eye of National coach Paul Simes will be looking at sharpening their starting and boat speed skills before racing commences on Sunday.

At what can only be described as mega event with over 400 sailors, it’s great to see such a great home waters entry at the Welsh academy venue and training ground for the Welsh National Squad.

On Wednesday the Chair of Sport Wales will be visiting both the venue and the event and has already been delighted to hear of the growth of the Topper class in Wales over the past few years.
