Sail a Farr 45 with Welsh 2012 contenders Dave Evans and Hannah Mills

Published: 31/05/2009

Come and experience a day of thrills on June 15th 2009!

This is a unique opportunity to race a Farr 45 with two of the most promising UK sailing teams campaigning for both, selection and Olympic medals in London 2012.

You will join 49er Sailors Dave Evans and Simon Hiscocks and 470 sailors Hannah Mills and Katrina Hughes and a crew of 8 guests at Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy, the Venue for the London 2012 Olympic Sailing Regatta.

The Farr 45 is a high performance race boat at the cutting edge of racing yacht design. It is a one-design class and therefore close quarter, fast and exhilarating racing is guaranteed. It is bigboat racing on another dimension.

The purpose of the day is to raise money to buy new, world class, equipment for our Olympic campaigns. The cost will be £300 per person this will include the day’s sailing, loan of wet weather gear and lunch.
